2. Moving it and appointing new moderators would make the Scratch moderators happier.

As for your question, I don't know the exact answer (how would I know? tongue ), but I think it was because the moderators were getting tired of removing words, flames, and moderating the hundreds of posts that poured into the TBG. When they held an election, people ran because they knew what they were going into and would eagerly moderate the posts.

I typed in the URL, then it would be ages for the loading bar to work and it didn't navigate away from the page even when the bar filled. Then I came to this thread to click the link, but I got a Page Unavailable.

However on Spades, I loaded it instantly.
