What do you do to recycle? What do you do to save resources? Post anything that you do that you think is a bit different, than the normal types of things that people have started to do to help the Earth.
I have three things.
1. I save plastic baggies. You know, like those Ziploc ones? For lunch? It's just that, I notice, at school, when anybody with a bag lunch ever dumps out their trash, they literally take their lunch box, and then open it, and flip it upside down above the trash barrel so everything can get out. But I save the tiny plastic bags, so I can re-use them.
2. I save KFC bowls XP. Whenever my Dad goes to get one of KFC's Famous Bowls, he always keeps it, so we can use it at home. They're nice and portable, and they're very easily stackable, for great storage. Plus they don't break as easily as glass :P.
3. My family recyles LOTS of paper. All of the old homework assignments, all of the newspapers, all of the magazines, we recycle, Honestly, if we were paid to recycle, we would be millionaires :D

This sounds suspiciously like a French Exam I took today. The title was "Qu'est-ce que tu fais pour protéger l'environnement?"
We don't use plastic bags ^^ We buy ones made from recycled plastic bottles, which are supah strawng, and they last for years... and years... and years.
And as for the plastic bottles themselves, I turn them into pressure-powered (PRESHA POWAH! hehe - inside jokes
) rocket cars (with some duct tape and a few of my brother's old toy cars, and a bike pump, and some water). And when the bottles get too flimsy to work, that's when I remove the duct tape, and the car, and recycle the bottle.
And glass jars are fun, too
I used to glass-paint on them, and use them as pen pots.
And as for paper... I draw or write (or watercolour, or oil pastel) on it, both sides, and then I file it. I enjoy writing a lot, so if I'm stuck for ideas, I flick my file open to a random page, and then write something about whatever is on that page. Usually, my drawings are of people, so I turn a few into characters (that's how I came up with approximately 50 of the characters I write about (I write a lot...) )
With newspapers, I keep the interesting bits (the bits about/by me (I got some writing published in the newspaper
Considering that I wrote it on a bus in France, that's pretty good), or about my friends, as well as funny/helpful articles), then ocasionally turn large newspapers into massive paper planes/boats/hats, then recycle them when I get bored
I keep cardboard boxes. I used one to make a display for my first (and so far, only) Science Fair project, I used another two for making winter hampers for the Salvation Army, and I use shoeboxes for storing random junk.
I personally think reusing is more fun than recycling - and it uses less energy
