Interesting ideas
I do like most of them! Ghost effect would allow them to fade away, instead of just disappearing, and colors would be great (even though you can hack to get them). And as usual, hide and show list is a must

You can hack variable colours? Awesome
![]()
Easily! The hard part is getting them to be changed by blocks!

What would the moving variable actualy accomplish besides making something look nice? But the setting Y and setting X are needed badly, aswell as hide/show list blocks. The colour is a brillant idea, and ghost is quite clever and would come in handy now and then.

i would have just been lazy and filmed it in scratch then converted it to gif. lol, what would it be used in though?

I think this is a cool idea, but I think there should be effects for lists.

How do you design the blocks?
Paint.net or hacking the scratch source code.

There are other ways of making them, besides paint.net you know. I use the scratch paint editor if im going to do it.

OK, some of these can actually be accomplished in Scratch right now:
Show/Hide List Blocks - I made a post in advanced topics, although people seem to be having a bit of trouble with it.
Moving variables - if you turn fill screen off, you can embed variables and variable parts in sprites, which can then move around. See this project for an example.

I saw your show/hide list thread, you are a genius.
How about my mesh blocks, do you think they could be achieved through scratch source code?

They should be... i think... but it would be pretty hard, but would be awesome once they're in!

That would be great thanks. I attempted making them, but I ended up with the red error box

Well... "If at first you don't succeed, try again (and maybe search the internet for some tutorials)"

I'd change the two upper blocks to
move [ Variable... v] watcher to x: ( ) y: ( )
though.
Hmmm...good point

That would make sense... Might it be kinda hard to move the bar on the slider view of the variable if its moving?
