Annoying volume change in music

When I import a .WAV file onto Scratch (originally .MP3, but changed in Audacity), it becomes quiet, real quiet. I can barely hear it!

Re: Annoying volume change in music

Did you try changing the volume level in Audacity?

I've noticed that, too. I usually have to increase the volume to hear sounds (especially if the originally was soft in the first place).

However, I've also noticed that sound files sound otherwise regular when viewed online. Maybe the sound output might have to do something with the Scratch interface.
