They should add mesh blocks and other blocks that you have to hack to use. Its hard tohack scratch and it would be easier to just add them normaly

i agree with you to it takes really long to hack scratch and type so specificly

There's reasons most of those blocks aren't in scratch in the first place, but I hear that they'll have something like mesh in the next release.

Hacking Scratch is easy...
To get to see the secret parts of scratch:
Open Scratch and hold shift while clicking the loop of the 'R' in the Scratch logo (the one in the top-left corner). Select 'turn fill screen off', then click in the whitespace that comes up. Select 'open...', then 'browser'.

There's way too much user-created blocks to add them all, I think.
Maybe the Scratch Team should let users make blocks with ActionScript (2.0 is going to be based in Flash), so they can upload them.

The <hidden?> Block. I Know How To Hack It To Make It, But It Would Be Great If They Put It Into Scratch 2.0

How do you "make" a block in actionscript...
And since it's gonna be in flash, we are gonna get the ability to display text (or variables as text) how we want, get xscale and yscale, create instances, and use VSG?

Why 2.0? Why not 3.0? Thats the latest version. (This is getting offtopic.)

They mean Scratch version not ActionScript version.

It's not really considered hacking when scratch is open-source. I consider it modding the source code. I think the reason that the "Scratch Team" removed some of those features is because it can really confuse new members of scratch. The main reason most people start programming with scratch is because of how simple it is and imagine being someone that is new too scratch, and is seeing 'Host Mesh' then some information about your i.p. address.

They should make a version of Scratch for new users and for more experianced ones and in the harder one have all the confusing ones you have to modify the code to get

I think this has been suggested multiple times. The problem with this is that it creates a divider between people of different skill levels in Scratch.

They could make settings so you can hide or show the new more advanced blocks kind of like the motor blocks. this way everyone will use the same program
