Animated Hand Drawn Sprites

Hey everybody,
I'm trying to draw my own hand drawn sprites that will be animated for my game 'Pants on the Ground', and I don't have a tablet. If the only way you can help me for this is to say "Get a Tablet", then will you please name the cheapest one that comes with a pen. I am looking forward to hearing your answers.

          Regards,
                The Emp (EmperorEvil)

Re: Animated Hand Drawn Sprites

I would suggest getting a scanner to do so. the only problem with that is that the colors aren't  solid.

Re: Animated Hand Drawn Sprites

One way (if you have a spazzy mouse like mine) is to try using short line segments, or even resorting to pixel by pixel drawing the line you want, and then smoothing it afterwards.

Re: Animated Hand Drawn Sprites

Or use the curve line tool in MSpaint
Or get the scanner and use paint.net or gimp to colour it

I have a scanner, but I can't color it on my computer because I have a PC and PhotoShop costs $1000000000000.

Why do you need photoshop?
Use seashore or GIMP!

Gimp can color scanned paper? I don't want to break out the markers. That would look fake. How can you do that with gimp?
