why? I just wonder..why?

Why do we help support other countires when we can barely support our own? I don't want to be selfish, but were out in different countries and stuff helping people and spending money when its terrible over here, the econmy has been butchered and people from out of the country are buying out all the houses in the US. If this continues to happen I shall consider moving to Canada.

It is near impossible to maintain a perfect equilibrium involving these sorts of things, unfortunately.

Well, what happens if we don't help others. For example, we can't just let the people in Haiti suffer. We must have allies.
There are many factors that are too important to ignore, so we have make sure we work on all of them, or else things can get terribly worse.

KIDDING that was bad.

But we should seriously fix our own lives before we go trying to help others.

Because there is a big difference between "having to keep the same car for 2 years running" or "not being able to buy the latests games console" compared to "not having access to clean drinking water" or "not having access to enough simple medical care to prevent babies dying of preventable disesases"

Explain.

Do you honestly think that being poor in a 1st world country remotely compares to being poor in a 3rd world country?

Well y'know it's kinda making it up for our badness.

Africans have to walk in bare feet to school evey day. They have to pay for school and school is the only way to get out of poverty and live.

Like I said it costs money. We donate to charities that help these people. We still live in a miles better place than them but we are also kind and donate some of our money to them.
