Buy-to-unlock?

What if you made a really big project, and you only released a small portion of it, but people could buy the rest of it? I know it sounds stupid, but maybe we could have mods to approve which ones can do that.

Blah, whatever. Thoughts?

Uhm, Scratch projects have to be free. You're bound by liscense to never sell anything made in it.

Well, I wouldn't like it, obviously because I would have to pay to see projects. But on the other hand...

Plus, with the limitations Scratch has, nobody's going to buy games that are pretty much useless, anyway.

Re: Buy-to-unlock?

But he's saying you make really big projects and the buying portion you download.

Re: Buy-to-unlock?

What if we get some kind of Scratch coins that you get from helping out the community and making projects and stuff?
Then we use those to buy features or something.

Maybe that would work. But that might be unfair to places such as schools using Scratch.

Re: Buy-to-unlock?

Its a good idea, except that its lnot likely due to the limitations in scratch. But it would b possible if you had it on your own website and posted the demo here.
