It's about some MMO game called Earth Eternal
He told me to join but I don't play kids games (also this game has lots of anthros, but no emo fringes or RPGing)

The game takes place on earth after the human race died out and you can become some kind of animal... warrior. Or you can be a robot.
The gameplay is similar to WoW from what I've heard except it's free (I think) and it runs from your browser.

Signing up is probably quick, and stuff. You can be lots of different animals but the only ones I saw were a moose or something with antlers and a wolf. My friend says to tell me if you joined so I can tell him

Note that while you can play the game for free, you can optionally spend money and buy game credits that let you buy stuff in the game.  So it might not remain free, depending on how important the items you can buy are to game play.  You can also earn game credit by filling out online surveys, probably provided by advertisers.

This seems to be a for-profit enterprise (Sparkplay Media) so this post might be bordering on commercial advertising.  Let me look into that for you.

In addition to clearly commercial sites, we are also seeing a lot of people spamming to try and improve the rank that search engines give to their sites.  They do this by leaving links to their sites on other sites (such as Scratch) which the search engines take into account.  This is called Search Engine Optimization (SEO) spam.  Consequently, we are going to be looking very closely at all outside links in forum posts and project comments.  Please keep your eyes open for links like that and report them
