I don't think that greenflash is active anymore....
And I'm pretty sure that he was curator before.
EDITL: NVM, he is.

I like to select projects that are fun, well programmed, and sometimes are funny (if they are appropriate).

I think I actually have a chance of being curator, now that I've been on the front page. Please consider me. BTW, I have decided not to quit Scratch. I will be learning C++, but still using Scratch in the meantime, just in case you read that I quit and decide not to consider me. I would pick excellent examples of math, as this is the area I myself am best in. I can determine good examples.

i'd be happy to curate for you.
i would probably shose platformer games and OS's.
i believe that operating systems dont get enough attention.
I would do games as i am an expirenced gamer, and platformer games are considered easy to make when they are not. most people consider them as just gravity

they contain hundreds of variables as well.

Interesting idea of focusing on Os's... And in my opinion, we should bring back games to the front page. They really are getting rare.

Looks like a lot of people are interested in being a Scratch Curator. I'd also like to volunteer. I understand that, since you are on the curators list, you'd know all about it. What was it like? Tell me anything about this, and Thank you.

My name is gawooga. I would select high-quality games that are entertaining but useful too. Maybe an art project that teaches geometry, or a fun maze with a built-in stopwatch. I would choose projects carefully and artfully, and not just ones by people who get a ton of views. As Scratch curator, I would choose the best of the best.

That has nothing to do with anything.
This is about showing other people's projects.

Okay, I don't really know how to reply to the "Scratch Curator" message, so, if the scratch team is looking at this, I am still interested in being the curator. Thank you SO SO SO SO much for looking at my other post!!!!!! I didn't think the team would reply! Thanks!

To whom it may concern:
I am interested in becoming a curator for the following reasons:
1. I would like to show interesting, good yet simple projects that I believe should be revealed to the world that currently are not.
2. I would like to make people feel better about their skills on Scratch by making some users get on the front page.
3. I think this is an interesting job and I am curious to receive a job on Scratch.
4. I would like to make new friends and discover projects more often.
I believe I am qualified enough to become a curator for the following reasons:
1. I think I am a very good Scratcher, nevertheless good at evaluating.
2. I can judge the quality of a project not just based on how much I like it, but how much the community would like it and compared to their Scratching skill.
3. Even though I am only 3 months old on Scratch, I have learned an awful lot of things. I learn quickly and I can easily catch onto the curatorship.
4. I can pick a diverse variety of projects.
5. I am on Scratch every day and I was on Scratch everyday since I started, so I can view projects every day.
6. I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO BECOME A CURATOR!!! :(because I am not one right now)
I really would like the job and I have one more thing to say:
"It was my dream to be able to make my own games, now it is my dream to be able to participate with a job on the program."
Thank you for your time to read this message.

Hello,
I'm demosthenes (as you may or may not know depending on whether you looked over there <-----) I've been Scratching since early 08 and late 07 (yes late 07 I didn't register 'til 08) and I've seen all kinds of scratch projects. I pride myself on ability to sift through projects to determine which are diverse, unique, original, inspiring, smoothly designed, and easy to adapt. If I were to become curator I would work to look through scratch projects that have received little attention, but could provide something to the community. Whether this would be because it was simple and provided an easy base for Scratch users to build off of, gave me inspiration that I felt the whole community would benefit from if it were on the front page, or provided a interesting and entertaining message that could reach and resound through all corners of the community, no matter how different racially, religiously, ethnically, or otherwise. I would choose projects that are well polished and push the limits of Scratch and present programming at its best.
Well, that's about all I can say on the matter (without ranting) so, thanks for reading (unless your one of those naughty people who skips to the bottoms of posts >.>) and please consider me as a candidate for curator.
~Demosthenes
