I know about effects "color", "fisheye", "whirl", "pixelate", "mosaic", "brightness", and "ghost", but they are not enough to make the serious effects that I'm looking for. Maybe a "glow" effect would work well. It could give surrounding sprites a waning "brightness" effect. Perhaps it would be like this "change 'glow' effect by( 25 )"
or possibly like "change 'glow' effect by( 25 ) and wane by(10)" wane being the how many shades per pixel the glow drops.

Seems cool!
I'd also like saturation, blur, stretch, etc. back without hacks needed.

I like the idea! Along with the previously removed saturation, blur, stretch, pointillization (I think it was called), this would all work great

Yeah! Never thought about that. I'm too lazy, could somebody make a mockup?
