Agreed. I play oboe too.
By the way, wish for an English horn, or if you want to be super-mega-epic, get a piccolo oboe (when was the last time you saw one in any band) or a bass oboe (which is also super uncommon) or a oboe d'amore (really uncommon)

My main instrument is trombone. I also mess around on the baritone/euphonium and I played trumpet for a year. I know a bit of piano and I know how to play the recorder (who doesn't), the tin whistle, a little ocarina, and a few folk instruments my grandparents got me from their travels.
