Why exactly would you want to track every single comment you've ever written? I have no problem with it, but it doesn't seem all that useful.

Well, incase you left a comment saying 'This is really great!' on a project, then you can find that comment and look at their reaction to that comment.

Only 15 favorites are shown; does this mean you can only have 15? It seems like the most remixed search doesn't work well, as it says the most is 5.

Thanks a lot for the report! Those two problems should be fixed now.

That's a good point. The ultimate goal is to show all your comments to other people as well. We are also considering generating a tag cloud* of all your comments to get a quick glimpse of the kind of comments a person leaves....

* a tag cloud is a visualization of all the words you have posted ordered alphabetically and with a font size dependent on the number of times that word appears on the text.

Re: Recent website changes

I used the my stuff comments list yesterday to track down a web site I'd mentioned in a posting but couldn't find again in google.  Being able to do that was helpful.

Re: Recent website changes

I like the fact that you changed the limit although I rarly go over 200. My last comment though  was 1364 letters long! It was in 3 different things.

I noticed that comments are now limited to 255 characters in length.  I find that quite annoying as I like to leave fairly verbose comments.  I would be interested to know the reasons behind this change.

We just found a few of extremely long comments that were not even real comments. I think no having any limit at all is a bit dangerous but we certainly don't want to force you to have to post more than 1 message for your verbose comments. What do you think the limit should be? It should be fairly simple to increase the limit.

Well, I've hit the 255 limit about 4 times now, usually when trying to give advice about a piece of scripting.   I guess I'd vote for somewhere around 500 characters and see how that flys.  What do other people think?

Yes, I agree. Around 500 characters would probably be ok. Ahhhhh well you couldn't list all of the digits of pi but oh well.  smile

Did you know that even if you stop commenting if you hit the reply button you can still comment (this happened a while back so I'm not sure if it still happens). Is it possible to fix?

The new "Scratch Club" changed to the Scratch design thing (I guess I really didn't need quotes) with the remixed projects

I see Top Remixed lately was added to the front page. One question about this: Can users remix the project themselves to get on the front page?
