Helpful hints/tips to make a good password

Hint/tip 1:Don't use your user name for a password, that's too easy for hackers.
Hint/tip 2:Don't use password for a password, that's also way too easy.
Hint/tip 3:Don't use 1234 for a password,that's another cheesy password.
Hint/tip 5:Don't use capitol,non-capitol and numbers in your password unless you wright it  down and hide in a safe place.

If you have any questions, ask and I will put it on this and give credit. If you have any sugestions tell me and I will put it on this and give credit.

Nice! I like it.  smile  A simple guide that has a lot of stuff in it...

I made a guide once - it's here.

Number 5 is not a good tip.
I have a 46 character string that I can never forget. Here's my scratch password!

Reason why I have number 5 is because a lot of people usually have trouble with those passwords.

Yeah, but still.
Number 5 is the exact opposite of how to make a hard to guess password.

A good idea for a password is this:
[your first name backwards][a memorable number, NOT 1337][your last name backwards][an insult that you commonly use]

(changed a bit). Here's an example, you'd never guess this, right?
Bob42noskcajbaka
Or (holding down alt)
∫ø∫¢€~øß˚çå∆∫å˚å
Try holding down shift or alt (or alt AND shift!), it makes people who just guess have a bigger problem.
You'd guess password, but would you guess πåßß∑ø®∂?
How about ∏ÅÍÍ„ØÂÎ
πåßß∑ø®∂ is holding down the alt key, and ∏ÅÍÍ„ØÂÎ is holding down alt and shift.

I'm ending this conversation because it's an arguement over opionons.

Not that character string.
That's my SCRATCH password.

I rarely use the whole thing because of typos and password size limits.
