Yes, I'm making an OS in C#. A text based one.
Not one of those that opens the Command Prompt.
This is a real OS. So far I'm using an ISO.

And you think that key will work when evaluation beta comes out? I think not. I'm changing it.

How I make my keys: I smash my keyboard until something comes out.

It's a full OS like MS DOS. Look, I'm using VPC to use it!
You should be able to start directly onto it though while the computer starts up. I tried that, didn't work bui I knew a critical mistake i did to cause it to not boot.

Yes, I will release it. It will just go through evaluation stages for certain people only.

But how does it load all the drivers for your PC? That's the main task of an OS, right... ???
On my virtual PC, all I did was create a virtual pc, attach 16mb ram, and NO virtual hard drive. I also attached my ISO and it booted up from it.
It's not even 1/10th done of the very first evaluation release for certain people only.
I'll be getting some people to help test it with me once the beta is atleast 75% done. I won't explain what will happen in the public, though, since the people who DON'T test the first version will somehow get a copy without me knowing.
EDIT: Grammer fix
EDIT 2: More info

I'd test it if it wasn't a complete OS, because Windows takes forever to load, and it would be a while until I could tell you the bugs

Windows does take forever. Mine boots in a few seconds.
To tell you the truth, I use windows more than mac. My username only says that I have one, and that it was the only username I could think of when I was on the scratch signup page.
