Some girl asked me to a date today, and it turns out it was just to go to some boring Pi Day thing.

I've made it a goal to memorize as many digits of pi as I can.
I'm only up to 3.141592653589793 so far, but hey, it's a start.

All I've memorized is 3.75654737565473756547.
By coincidence, Chrischb and I joined Scratch on March 14 - pi day!

What is that? Doesn't look like Pi.

It's a repeat of RHY's numbers.

Supposed to be a joke?

Yes, I'm pretty sure it was just a joke.

That's all you need to know in real life.

Just press the Pi button on the calculator, and you dont need to know it.

1. I have memorized 3.14159265358979323!!!
2. Look at this user's page: http://scratch.mit.edu/users/3-14159265358979323
3. While the decimal representation of π has been computed to more than a trillion digits, elementary applications, such as estimating the circumference of a circle, will rarely require more than a dozen decimal places. For example, the decimal representation of π truncated to 11 decimal places is good enough to estimate the circumference of any circle that fits inside the earth with an error of less than one millimetre, and the decimal representation of π truncated to 39 decimal places is sufficient to estimate the circumference of any circle that fits in the observable universe with precision comparable to the radius of a hydrogen atom.
