Dear Scratch Team,
I think that we need a better way to have good projects get viewed like my zelda game (http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/cougers/922145) I spent weeks on it and it was glitchless and I have only ten views on it. It's very discouraging. That is why so many people are "quiting" so that they can get publicity too. I don't exactly know how to do it but any suggestions would help.

This has been suggested many times. I think that there should be a section on the front page that would pick a random project and have it on the front page for about 15 minutes. Maybe every user could pick one project of theirs to be able to be picked.

Surprise Projects was removed because it could show an inappropriate project... and anyway, there already is the curator spot.

I don't like it either how projects that have lots of time and dedication put into them often don't get many views. It's hard to get your projects viewed unless they get on the featured/curated sections, which still doesn't help if nobody sees it in the first place.
What we need is something like surprise projects, but doesn't run the risk of showing bad projects. Maybe something based around a karma system...

I love hmnwilson's idea. It sounds like it would work, and more people deserve to be viewed. Some people have awesome projects, but nobody ever sees it because it isn't featured or curated. (I'm one of them)
