Infinitely close, and infinitely distant?

It happens to me if I go to bed late at night, a day before a rainstorm.

I had a dream a clown was trying to capture me.
And then a dream that 100s of baby ferrets died in my grandparent's backyard.
And then this random creep kept stalking me and trying to murder me. He almost ran me over with a plane!
And then robots were chasing me.

I know. :3 Except for that ferret thing. That still saddens me. There were hundreds of drenched dead bodies on the floor, and we were trying to find a few lone survivors. Then my real ferret(who fell out a window and was never seen again) came up to me. I was really happy about that, but she was starved and sad looking. There was a big rainstorm too.

...Huh? I see visions of the future, something I need to go to a psychiatrist about but I don't, and you're talking about Sarah Palin? It might be useful when I get a vision about 2012, then you'll be thanking me  big_smile

Re: Does this guy look familiar?

all of these dreams are normal
for adriangl it's probably self fulfilling prophecy, you dreamt it would happen and it did.  or you dreamt of something that happened in the past that you don't remember and u just happened to revisit that place in the future.  dreams are made of things u have already seen or things pieced from things you've seen.

Re: Does this guy look familiar?

Lol dream thread.
You guys look up what your dreams are about? I did once because I had this really weird dream and I was surprised about what it meant.
I also get a lot of deja vu.

But no, I've never seen this man.

Nope-well, for some parts. They are visions, and it's not necessarily like that because one time I saw the vision 3 whole years after I dreamed it. I get a feeling when it happens, sometimes I see vortexes, and strangely, I see the vortexes somehow. Not just painted somewhere or drawn, it suddenly appears in my mind. It's...freaky.

Re: Does this guy look familiar?

I've never seen him... and I hope not to.  hmm

Though maybe people just hear about him, go to bed, and have a dream involving him... don't people sometimes dream about what they were thinking about that day? :S

Slightly OT: adriangl, you probably just dreamt about something an a few years later it happened to come true. It happens all the time to people.

...But if you really are seeing visions I just hope we don't share that ability (in a recent dream of mine someone told me my dog of 8 years will die sometime around 2011 D: )

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Re: Does this guy look familiar?

In kindergarten, in a dream one day, it was the 2nd day of third grade. and I had to go to Room 13, I was actually a bit late. I sat down in Desk 13(That was my number) and the (tiny bit wide)teacher was lecturing about an animal project.

Creepy part: I had gone to room 13 in 3rd grade late on the 2nd day of school and my number was 13 and my (kind of large) teacher had assigned an animal project in the school year.

That's the only dream where I had dreamt something in the future.

Creepy, but no, here is how my dreams go, because they are really freaky.

I see a vision, a blurry one, usually well lit. It is a scene I am going to see in the future, either the next day, or the next year. It's strange because when I see the scene from my dream, I get a strange sense in my body, I see another vision. Is there something wrong with me?

No, lot's of people get that feeling.  I think you either mean Deja Vu or a futuristic vision.  Sometimes it's just a dream.  Sometimes.

Nope, futuristic vision, definitely. The longest I've had to wait for one dream to occur is 3 years, but it still happened. Most take just a few weeks to occur. When the image happens in my life, that's when the deja vu happens...

I don't think I've ever dreamed about something that happened in the future. Except that I once dreamed about something in a video game that wasn't in the game and the sequel to that game had it, but I don't know if that was before or after the sequel was released.
