They're to proud, and try to their highest extent to point it out to people.
So, your smart, have braces, freckles, glasses and absolutely no life. Big whoop.
This topic fails.
I'm smart, will get braces, I have freckles (but not like country-person exaggerated makeup ones. light ones), I have glasses. I have a life. -blink blink blink- ...And I think a better term is Geek. I call myself a geek. 'Cause I am.

That's not very nerdy...
Try this one:
"The ships hung in the air much the same way bricks don't."
-Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Book 1
Beat that quote!

I can't believe that I am trying to talk to "fishmonk", who doesn't capitalize his 'I's. What's 'nerdness' or 'neardy'?
At last I find another person out of their mind.
I call people like that braggers. I don't like braggers...
Have I lowered your ego already?
"Pardon me for breathing, which I never do anyway so I don't know why I bother to say it, oh God I'm so depressed. Here's another one of those self-satisfied doors. Life! Don't talk to me about life."

My reason for not capitalizing my i's is simple, im lazy. And yes, I am bragging.
One out of each ten brags is hyperbolic.

Computer nerds, like my self, tend to be pretty lazy. And not all brags are hyperbole, sometimes you brag about something actualy isn't exaggerated.

Nerds by lazy I mean in grammar.
Bragging is hyperbole, it is expressing in larger terms always.
How is 'monkfish' nerdy?
If everyone else calls you nerdy, why should you brag about it?
Just be a nerd and deal with it.

"Before Arthur stood a monstrous fly. 'Hello,' said the fly. 'Or perhaps you remember me as the rabbit.' Immediately the fly flickered and morphed into an enourmous rabbit.'"
-The Restaurant at the End of the Universe
Actually, I'm paraphrasing this one, and I don't remember if this quote is from The Restaurant at the End of the Universe or Life, the Universe, and Everything. I just know it's from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series.

Here's a quote: "Give me a lever long enough and a place to stand, and I shall move the world" -Archimedes
(which is incorrect because he would suffocate, plus there's no gravity in space, and therefore the lever would not work. He also never mentions a fulcrum)
