4 the site!

I've been thinking maybe their sholud be a thing so you can tell if someone is online.
The way you would find out is by looking where it says what country they come from!

You can only see if they are on if they are you're friend!

It's just i never no if someone is on or off unless they are on the forum!

The Scratch Team has vetoed this already - It is an invasion of privacy.

No one said anything about PMs. Just about it saying if they're online or not.

Re: 4 the site!

We have a "recent visitors" list on the front page of the site and in the forums.

But what would be the purpose of knowing if a person is online or not?
Would you be more likely to leave a message on one of their projects and possibly ask for help? ...because it's more likely that you will get a fast response?

If the goal is for faster help with projects by people that are online now, I think we could do better than showing online status in individual profiles. Here's what I suggest.

Yeah, we can't have IM because communication needs to be open. (many kids here...)
I think having a Wall or Mailbox project as a central place for communication with us, would be helpful.  (Suggested by Paddle2See)
