Jumping

I am having problems getting my sprite to jump. I have the gravity part down, I just cant get him to stop going up! Please help me with this problem that I have.

Is the part with moving up in a 'forever' block? If it is, the sprite will never stop moving up.

Here's a simple jumping script that you can adapt to your needs:
