I've seen users that are even in their late teens. I don't know if Scratch really does have an age limit. It's supposed to be meant for all ages. But still, there are some inappropriate projects out there. As long as their parents allow them to use Scratch and see the projects that would get flagged, then that's fine.

I don't know. I'm 7, so I don't have to worry.
EDIT: About an age limit, I mean. Also, I wouldn't recommend Python. Try C++. Yes, I am a computer geek.

There is no age limit... The age limit is... is... aaaaah rabid guinea pigs attacking! LOL

If you go to the Scratch stats page, you can see the general age range of Scratchers... I saw on there that some 50 year-olds were scratching! LOL Yay for Scratch worldwide!

I think it needs no age limit, but people should at least leave a warning about their game in the game notes. Ex: Rated 10+ for cartoon violence and guns or something like that. So people know what they are about to play. Woo hoo 50th post!

Swearing is not allowed on the Scratch website though, and might get your account blocked. 3:

There is no limit to age at all! I've seen five year olds, and i've seen forty year olds

Not so much age limit as maturity limit.
I've seem 12-13 year olds being complete morons,
while I'm sure there are civilized younger members.

I think it's rather funny that there are 0 year-olds using scratch (according to the statistics). Personally, I doubt that any are truly 0

How old are you?
I'm 10.
Anyway, about people saying there are inappropriate projects, those aren't supposed to be there, so I would say Scratch is for anyone who can understand it.

I think that having an age limit is completely pointless. Have you heard of the term "faking your age"? It's why there are so many 7 year olds on facebook(including me)and also on youtube(including me). Anyway, it's easy to use and hardly anyone ever posts something that is not suitable for young kids... and those get flagged and deleted anyway
