What happens is you end up getting so many projects in the gallery that the gallery becomes to big to be useful. I better approach is to decide what type of project you are most interested in and allowing only that type of project into the gallery (a "themed gallery). Then, it is useful to people with the same interests as you and hopefully it will stay small enough that people can see everything in it in a reasonable amount of time. Nobody wants to try to page through a couple of hundred projects looking for something of interest.
Bigger is NOT always better.
