From what I see, Scratch can remove viruses from songs. You import the song, DELETE THE SONG where you had it, then export the song, clean with no viruses.

Scratch makes VB programmers Embarrassed...
Scratch brings shame on a "computer language"
Please tell me why the last build of scratch was in December? Does it suck that much that the developers stoped producing builds?

Scratch was meant to be an educating device for children of ages 8-16, so of course it MUST be simple. But that doesn't mean the developers aren't capable of making something BIG. Scratch is actually a fantastic piece of work, it being simple, enjoyable, a great educating device and a beginner's compiler, all in one. And having blocks intead of text is a very good idea and makes programming a lot more easier to understand. Do not underestimate the developers' work. Children are harder to understand than adults, when you yourself are an adult.

Have you ever made a program. I didn't think so. You really should show appreciation. Scratch is a programing language that is limited, but great for quick game and animations. Scratch is revolutionary. It is totaly different then every other single programing language. It's uniqueness makes it fun. They are working on upgrades but they are hard to make. Also, I do programing in multiple forms of basic, including visual basic. Scratch is alot better than visual basic in my opinion for its easy to use format. Basic programs have a fatal flaw, if there is one mistake the whole program doesn't work, and it can take hours to scan through the code inorder to find the problem

Don't reply to the troll anymore guys. He has already been banned.
Truth is, scratch is way worse in terms of performance than about every other language. Although scratch is not practical for professional use it is a fun tool for introducing people to programming.

I programed in basic before scratch and I have to agree with archmage. But I feel that scratch is way more user friendly than any other program language. What is really great about scratch is the share feature. being able to get help from people all around the world. I never really got hooked on basic due to it's fatal flaw which I mentioned above. I totally disagree with, as archmage says, "the troll", saying that visual basic shames scratch. Visual basic, similar to scratch, was designed to get people into programming and is also very limited. It also suffers from being not user freindly.

Visual basic isn't limited. Just search for visual basic games on youtube and you will be able to find games that are not possible with scratch.

It's limited compared to other forms off basic
