Recently people don't seem to have joining so they could program - they seem to be joining for other purposes. So I thought I'd make this...

Why did you join Scratch?
a. Because I wanted to program and share my projects
b. Because I wanted to chat with my friends
c. Because I wanted to chat in the forums (Miscellaneous, hint hint)
d. Because I wanted to play in the Text-Based Games (?)

A. I wanted to program in a simple, easy language(before I tried Java and Alice- I wasn't too successful). The addition of sharing projects online sparked my interest. smile

I didn't join Scratch for any of the reasons, I joined to see what it was like. I guess the closest answer is a, because I didn't have any friends on Scratch when I first joined.

Honestly, A. About 8 months ago I went to a class that taught us the basics of Scratch. After the class was over, I wanted to learn even more about it, and share my ideas with the site. Unfortunately, I just haven't had any ideas for a project in a long time. sad
