Paint? Simple! Just double-click the sprite or stage and go to costumes or backrounds and click paint.
Retired from Scratch, but just the language itself. Not the forums.

Only one of the three button say Paint. There is a make new sprite that will bring you to the paint editor and if you click edit on one of the costumes it will bring you to the paint editor and the paint button in that area.
