I'd agree right after I change my username to katana.

If you want to change your name, then just make a new account. That way it doesn't make extra work for the Scratch Team.

Yep - name changing would be mighty tricky. The Scratch website database depends on each user having a unique name. So changing the name could kind of mess things up. Our framework isn't made to do that I'm afraid.

The good news is that Scratchers can make multiple accounts as long as they are used respectfully.  smile

mabey you could appeal to a admin or mod to enable you to change your username if neccersary.

There are ways to do it, and I have seen sites that have.
However, these ways are tedious and unstable.
If you feel that you REALLY need to change your name, the scratchR's should be able to do it... but they probably can't be bothered.
And as far as creating a nice automated GUI for it, the scratch team has other things on their mind.

So sorry, guys, It ain't gonna happen.
Possibly consider creating a new account?

We should be able to change our usernames if our parents say they  aren't good usernames we can't change them. I now realize that "Fungirl101" isn't a good username because people might get the wrong idea but it's too late to change it.

Who do people walk slowly when they are scared? Say someone is in a haunted house and they walk slowly? Or say someone sees Jeff in the middle of the night or the Rake, they STARE. Why is that?

The username Sun is already taken... even if you were given permission to change your username, you wouldn't be able to use the one you want.
