play techno while playing video games
the upbeat style and tempo will ensue for faster reactions, better awareness on-screen, and making the game seem just that much more epic
just make sure you gots good techno! dance, drum N' bass, and some house is pretty good

I might just try this....
I've noticed that different tones and different kinds of music affect how the mind works.
For example, I study better when I talk with a British accent.

I listen to my cousin's music (he makes instrumentals with a friend), Lil' Wayne, Pop and Rock. I hate techno and I can't listen to music while playing a video game. Too much noise.

Just go to your game's options menu, and turn the volume of everything to 0.

Or you could just turn off the volume of the TV.

techno, pop and some how, ORCHESTRAL (stupid, i know [but i do play in the band, where a i play orchestra], but...) music help me think and use my imagination better than usual, so before i know it, I'm on my bed, doing some wacky thing, while im zoned into a daydream! XD
