game not the same on website?

I made this game here:
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/me_awesome/908016

It runs fine on my home computer. But when I upload it here, there are problems:
1- Instead of bouncing on the window edge and staying in-bounds, my character falls away. I do have a rule that will cause my character to fall when touching white (clouds) or blue (sky). But why is the edge rule not working?

2- When you touch the coin, your score should go up by one. But it does not. Here is the rule:

[blocks]
<when green flag clicked>
<forever>
<if> <touching[ coin
<change{ points }by(1
[/blocks]

Help!

Re: game not the same on website?

It's the Java player. It's not very good and lags alot so sometimes scripts don't work. But if it works in Scratch then it's fine.

Re: game not the same on website?

You can always say in the project notes that to play the game you need to download it. when you play it offline, the project should work like normal.

There's not much else you can do when that happens. The java player is extremely buggy...

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Re: game not the same on website?

I put a new version here:
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/me_awesome/908011
This time I tried to move back instead of using the bounce rule. Maybe slightly better. It seems the edge detection might be a problem in the web/java player.
