What are the bottom two about? They are both by Margaret Peterson Haddix. The missing series is about children of the past that are saved by people of the future. They end up in modern time, and a lot of stuff goes bad. I suggest it, though, right now, there are only 2 books in the series.
The shadow children is about children who must hide. The government believed that too many people would mean not enough food, so families are only allowed to have 2 children. These are stories about what they do and it is really good. There are 7 books in this series.Ooh I read the Shadow Children. I have every book except Among the Barons.
Wow. Then you missed the only one with connections to Luke's friend (I forgot what her name was)

Good God, I could go on forever
Maybe I will.
Harry Potter Series: Everyone knows this, and has probably read it, but I just have to say, best book series ever, IMO. Its actually what got me into reading all those years ago.
Wheel of Time Series:Awsome Sword and Sorcery series, really a long read. For mature audiences only though, as it deals with insanity, relationships, and a tiny bit of love. Also, it has twelve books, each more than 700 pages long.
Eragon:Movie was horrible, but the books are pretty good. One of my favorite series.
The Dark Tower Series: Once again, a long series of mature books. This is so because it was written by Stephen King. No other explanation needed. Very good series, although it is a bit confuseing and boring at times.
Pendragon Series: Awsome series, about the same maturity level as HP. Its about a kid who goes around and sames different planets from the same guy who is trying to destroy them. Sounds cheesy, but its very good.
Lets see What else there is:
Percy Jackson Series
Artemis Fowl Series (Really Good)
Lord of the Rings
Redwall Books
Shadow Children
Enders Game Series
Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe
Thats it.

I want to read Hitchhikers Guide, but apparently my dad wants to check and make sure it's appropriate.
The book I posted earlier was more of a joke than anything though.

This trilogy is addicting and is fun to read. It is about a team of 4 children trying to stop a smart villain.
Heh, heh, Constance is funny...
My favorite?
Probably The Boy in a Dress:
By David Walliams. You get the idea.

It's not exactly appropriate at times. The first book is fine for all, but the others are a bit inappropriate sometimes.
But don't get me wrong, it's a great series!
Yes, it isn't one book. It's a series.

I was supposed to read that for History once, but it was so boring, I couldn't read the first chapter.
