Re: I have a special Request for all forum users

Suddenly I'm starting to read everything in a Scottish accent.  hmm

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Re: I have a special Request for all forum users

Do you mean can we imagine you with an English accent, or can we imagine you with what everyone seems to be thinking is English which actually sounds Australian?

People, Australasian accents sound different to English. Plus english varies a lot depending on the county.

For instance, in Norfolk, vowels generally aren't as pronounced, so instead of pronouncing tomato as Toe - may - toe, they pronounce it as Turr - mar - Turr

I know what an English Accent sounds like. Nothing at all like an Australian.

I'm from America, but one of my parents is from England.

Wow, they are by far cooler than us up there.

And what Americans think abut them, is very un-true.

Very.

Like, not everybody is Mary Poppins, and flipping out about tea.

I don't think this belongs in requests. It's not really a material possession or anything like that. So onto the request: Well, I'll be visiting a relative in England for a couple of weeks starting on March the 3rd. I just wanted to ask if everyone, while reading my posts in their heads, could imagine me with an English Accent. Thank you. That is all.

Dude, if you went to Scotland, then you'd have to worry about accents!
