Scratch file association issue

Hi

I am not a profficient scratch user!

We use this in a secondary school in the unted kingdom, and have just installed it to a network drive. When Students open a file up, the never got any option to default open in Scratch. I wrote a registry fix which linked .sb to open the network install of scratch, but when they try to - instead of getting scratch - they get the below error:

cheers.

Re: Scratch file association issue

hmm this actually telss that the scratch vm cant find the image file for scratch heres the fix in the network drive say Z: find where scratch is installed then
when making the icon paste this in the target and the error wont happening while openin scratch
"Z:\Program Files\Scratch\Scratch.exe" "Z:\Program Files\Scratch\Scratch.image"
atleast it fixed the problem for me once

Re: Scratch file association issue

You got it fixed before I could recover my post on how to do it. Well if anyone else has this problem I have a tutorial here.

Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.
