ZIP problem...

I have meen on scratch for a few years, and I have never been able to download a ZIP file.
Heres what happens:
1. I double-click
2. It tells me to open as an image file, nothing shows up as choices to run it with.
3. I switch to all files
4. It tells me that I cannot run the file.
HELP!

Re: ZIP problem...

You don't run .zip files... You extract their contents.

Re: ZIP problem...

Where are you downloading these .zip files from?  hmm

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Re: ZIP problem...

Assuming you're on Windows, you should right-click on the zip-file, select "save link as" and store the zip-file on your computer. Then you need a program to extract its contents. You can for example download 7-zip for free, and after doing that, right-clicking on the zip-file on your computer pops up the option "Extract here" that you should select. You get a new folder with the actual contents of the zip file.

Re: ZIP problem...

His problem is that Squeak keeps asking him for the .image file. He does it but then an error pops up.
