With all this drama going on, I just can't stay on Scratch. How many users have quit? I don't know. The thing is, too many of them do. For the right reasons. And sometimes people get banned.
I thought about quitting when the thing about Dream-caster happened. Okay, he was my favorite Scratcher for a long time.
Then I REALLY felt like quitting when Nikkiperson2 quit.
And now. Gabbylence made MahoAshley quit! Now, this is the last straw.
So...
You know...
Goodbye.

Bye. Has quitting become cool or am I missing something?
If there's a quitting chain going on don't do it.

Really, you are so upset about all of the quitting, that you decide to add to it by announcing that you are quitting? This may cause more people to quit, and add to the chain

I know. I just think the Scratch community is unsafe for me. If my BFF (who knows about ALL my personal info) got on Scratch and shared it, well, it would be a disaster for me. To prevent this, I am quitting early. I'm sorry; I'm being like Dream-caster.

This.
And it's extremely cowardly to quit like that just because some other famous users quit. Not only are you contributing to said problem, but proving that you are overly influenced by what someone on the INTERNET did.

He's basically saying that calling yourself "like dream-caster" is an insult to yourself. Look at it more closely, I guess.

Cuz the thought of that was funny when I saw it.

You guys, if your friend just said she hated you, and then got on Scratch, and you know that she is perfectly capable of sharing your picture, full name, age, location...terrible. Unsafe.
Offline
Where she would be permanently banned, never again to have contact with the scratch site or program at all, and all the info she shared erased immediately.

Also I didn't mention this before but that'd be a two sided sword. If she gives your personal info, she's also likely giving her own direct info as well, making her a target too. I don't know how old your friend is and I don't expect her to think much ahead no matter the case, but not only would she be endangering you, but herself as well. The best choice is to keep your friends close. High school friends are all fake rats, so I suggest you get elementary school friends. (well, a majority of them are. Real friends in high school are rare but important).

Goodbye.
Strangely, you quitting may help solve the problem.
The more people that care about quitting that quit, the less people that care about quitting stay on scratch...

Thanks for explaining that so thoroughly.

If she ever really did that, someone would flag it and the scratch team would remove it immediately. You probably don't need to worry anyway, I don't think someone would pull something like that just to get revenge on someone...

Why does everyone have to quit? Why is everyone so mean to eachother? Let's make this stop,ok?
