The on screen keyboard is good especially when your playing a button smashing game. Two inputs are better than one.
I remember having mouse wars. Plug two mice into a computer and you try to do your normal computering with someone else doing theirs as well.
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

I remeber when my school had the ball mice. The balls in the mice kept getting stollen so I ended up just rolling the rollers inside the mouse.

Yes. One on screen mouse, two mice, two competitive players only one can win.
You can have a goal. Say one person try's to open a browser and go to google.com and the other does something else that takes equally as long.
