Scratch with windows movie maker!

Ok, so I decided I would make movies, and mass fight scenes where i didn't have enough actors would be scratch done. So i tried to import my scene into WMM, but they said: The file cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.

I love scratch, and want it in my films, but I can't find this "Codec" they speak of.  neutral  Please, help me.

Re: Scratch with windows movie maker!

that's something only the scratch team can answer most likely because if you need to download code for a movie it's kinda unlikely you'll find a solution

Re: Scratch with windows movie maker!

A Scratch project isn't a movie that you can play in a movie player, so there cannot be a codec for WMM or any other media player. If you made a non-interactive project which can be run "like a movie" you might want to record it using a screen capture programm to share it in a movie file format.

Re: Scratch with windows movie maker!

I want to import a project for Windows Movie Maker, but My camera is pretty bad when it comes to taping screens. I was wondering if there was a trick I could do to tape the stuff that's happening on the screen without using a camera.  I think I need a "screen capture program," but how do I get it?

Re: Scratch with windows movie maker!

I have used Cam Studio for that purpose.  It's free, I believe.
