To all those who are asking:
Most curators have had years of experience with the scratch website and have been friendly and kind. They also are great programmers.
If you want to be a curator, you should read over these facts.

Well- that's not exactly how I'd put it. We often pick curators who are long time members of the community (and being friendly and kind doesn't hurt at all either
). But we don't choose them on the basis of programming ability or skill level.

Remember everyone(sounding like the Scratch team here
):
1. Try to show a good image of yourself. " can I pleez bee carutar" doesn't help.
2. Use good grammar. Show the Scratch Team you know what you are talking about.
3. Expanding on 1, a single sentence "speech" will NOT get you in. A paragraph MIGHT. Three paragraphs increase your chances.
4. Here's what people don't consider: Tell the Scratch Team what you will pick. Not having it will not make you curator.
5. Don't post here for 5 billion times- 1-3 speeches is enough.
6. Say why you think you should be curator- "I make awesome projects" is not a good quality, "I like looking at good projects" is.
7. If you had said you wanted to be curator a long time ago, repost here to show you're still interested.
8. Be patient. The Scratch team is choosing among 1,100 people here, it's not easy.
9. Pleading to be curator lowers your chances a bit. Show you want to be curator, and you will be a good one.
10. Be a good sport- sometimes you are not picked- which is okay. Another 1,000 people also have gone the same way.
Thank you for looking!

I only know that I have a tiny chance, at least, but then I tried it.
I hope it works!

I would LOVE to be a curator!!! I like scratch projects that you can vote on, or fake commercials or spoofs.

There are some projects that I enjoy because I know people took a lot of time out of their schedule to make those projects. So, I would like to be a Scratch Curator.

I think that the Scratch Team should have a team that can check messages (There will be a lot of them) that are nice and friendly. Then you select a couple of these type of people and let them be a curator for half a week. (If they just put really nice comments they should put them on for 1 week.
Please do this,
xXsim-simXx
Cheers!
P.S.
If you think this is good try to contact me at [email address removed by Forum Moderator - please don't share personal information on the Scratch website]
Cheers!!
