Re: Virus Peroblemia

Have you tried booting in safe mode? (repeatedly tap the F8 key while it's booting to get that.) It stops programs (including viruses) from opening on startup, and you should be able to run your antivirus program.

I'd also recommend downloading Malwarebytes, it's a really good (free) anti-malware program.

Good luck!

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

well, if you havent fixed it yet, you might have to reinstall windows with the cd that came with your computer.

Re: Virus Peroblemia

There are a few ways to get your data off it without infecting your other hard drive. Try doing some background research on the topic and if you haven't already get an anti-virus.

Re: Virus Peroblemia

If you've connected both drives to one computer and started up the non infected drive. Get the antivirus to scan the infected drive and remove the viruses. Becareful though if the infected drive has a worm like virus the other drive can get infected. You should be fine though as long as you don't execute the exe files on the infected drive. All virus are either exe files or media files which get executed so don't look a media files as well until you've scaned them and know there safe.

Like I said do some research on this topic.
