Why do birds fly?
Maybe god was tired of making stuff on the ground.

Sensors used to be $50.
(Edit: maybe) People were tired of them so they lost intrest and they had to increase the price.

Wouldn't that be when you would decrease the price?

If it was just one perchase like a house then it probably would but then there would still be some people who were willing to pay the price but not a much as they hoped so then those people who liked it had to pay a little more to cover the costs of the lost consumers.
I'm not saying that is why anyway. Nobody knows. I gave an example. I don't know why. Maybe an economists will give you an 100 page explanation but really he'll have to adapt to it.

I took economy AND business classes before. In this situation, the prices will definitely go down. They would decrease the number of machines being made, so there would be no customers lost, as there's nothing to sell them.
The sensor boards cost a lot because they're intricate pieces of machinery. Also it's just an unlikely assumption that sensor boards aren't selling, so they might actually even be in demand, which could explain prices going up.
Also, God doesn't exist. Birds can fly because they are delicious to other animals, so they need a means of escape. It's evolution. All species adapt for survival, and birds were the ones who got the wings.

For crying out loud it was just an example!
It seems that we only need a 4 line example. *The idiot (me) leaves*
