Little question

Sorry, this seems kind of n00bish, but how do you get the box wher e you type stuff in and then click the check mark and it does something with it? It's blue, if that helps...

Re: Little question

I have no idea what you are talking about. I notice you have joined today... welcome to scratch! I have indeed joined almost four years ago so ask me any questions you need (But try to phrase the better, it will help.)

Re: Little question

Okay. In projects I see in the site, there is a little box where you input your name, a number, a question...etc. I want to know how to put it in my project. Thanks! This isn't my first time on Scratch, I've been doing it for about a year now.

Re: Little question

Hey Missetika, I believe what you are referring to is one of the newest blocks introduced to the programming language: the 'ask' block.

The 'ask' block is classified as a sensing block (that is, it's grouped with all the blue blocks). If you are using an older version of Scratch (1.3.1 or lower), you will need to download the latest version of Scratch (1.4) in order to get and use the new 'ask' block. If you already have Scratch 1.4, then you're good to go!  smile

Re: Little question

Oh. That makes sense. I got my scratch program last year. That would explain it. Thanks!

Once you have downloaded, if you have any questions about the block please ask me.  smile

This is a new account- I've been on scratch for almost a year now but have learned SO much.
