Note: HTML doesn't count because its only used for web design.
Languages I know are: pascal, java, php with sql, actionscript2/3
I learned most of this in classes and haven't used them too much since so I would have to brush up on anything except actionscript before using it again. I learned actionscript in my spare time with the sole purpose of making flash games.
So what sort of experiences do you guys have?

I know a little bit of python.

Python is easy. Too easy... It must be a trap.

None really, unless you count Scratch or TI Basic a language. I'm going to learn Basic and C++ next year though (I signed up for programming for my elective next year!)

Photoshop, Corel, and all the art programs.

JustBasic, I started learning today after I saw this thread so I could have something other than Scratch, even though I downloaded the program a long time ago. So far I've made a program that has you input a variable value, and returns it back to you!

art programs are not programming languages...
I know you must want to rebel against everyone who favour programming over art but like it or not scratch is a programming oriented tool. I just wanted to know if people's past experiences influence their projects.

JustBASIC is simple, I bet in a few weeks you can make something way better...

That was the same problem I ran into.
I want a Mac, but they're too expensive.
You'll need this: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
And this: http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/downlo … -win32.zip
And probably a few tutorials; just Google that.

Seems like too much of a bother to me. Then again, I've got a mac, and an iPod touch to test on, and with $200 and gamesalad, I could make iPhone games. Unfortunatly, I don't have $200.
Why do you need 200 bucks? Isn't the iPhone SDK like free for the limited version and $99 for the full?
Anyway, then why don't you make Android apps?

The iPhone SDK is free, to be a licensed devleoper who can submit to the App Store, then: http://developer.apple.com/iphone/program/apply.html

I know that program I made was noobishly simple.
Thanks for the support.

Scratch and some actionscript. I can do quite a lot in actionscript - yet I don't even know how to make and manage instances of a symbol.
