Do you guys think I could... would you consider me to.... could I please..... join?
I've been impressed with what this collaboration has made, and I truly admire it. I'd love to join it and help contribute and work on the WebWizard, along with the other projects you are working on....
You've probably seen my projects before, but if not, please see them, just to see how generally good I am at scratch.

Because we already have enough members you can be a partial member but not a full member. You can help out on odd jobs and things like the paint editor but you can't influence major changes on it. But of course if you do a LOT of work, we may let you be an official member (like nXIII!) Good luck!

Ok! I understand! I somewhat thought I might get this response, considering there's already many members
I actually already started working on some stuff, so I'm just going to upload it...

Yep! I'd be happy to let you work on some side projects, and if you do well enough, you can become a full member. I've seen your work and it is great, so we don't really have to worry about that. Shadow_7283, fg123, ThePCKid, The-Whiz, MathWhiz
z, <----
nxIII, and possible Lucario. I think we can afford one more member.

Aww. I wanted to be a partial member. My projects are above average complexness.

You spelled it worse than shadow did!

Lol. One of you (The-Whiz, MathWizz) GO AWAY! We only need one spelling for whiz or wizz.
Just kidding.

Let's see what Merriam Webster has to say...
Main Entry: whiz
Variant(s): or whizz \ˈhwiz, ˈwiz\
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): whizzed; whiz·zing
Etymology: imitative
Date: 1582
intransitive verb
1 : to hum, whir, or hiss like a speeding object (as an arrow or ball) passing through air
2 : to fly or move swiftly especially with a whiz <cars whizzing by>
transitive verb
: to cause to whiz; especially : to rotate very rapidly
And for wizz:
The word you've entered isn't in the dictionary. Click on a spelling suggestion below or try again using the search bar above.
wiz
whiz
wise
Wis
wish
with
etc.
Hmmm... Looks like MathWizz has to go.

Easy go in to a converted scratch file (scratch converts to java ) which can do most anything web based but i dont think mit would like it i think that may constitute as hacking
Offline
I believe he/she is saying that instead of having SWC, we could just hack into a java converted Scratch file and use java functions
to make a real web browser. Which in my opinion is a lot
more difficult, because I have no clue of how to use java.

Where can I get more information about the Web Wizard, HTScript and SWC? Is there a reference forum topic?

Thanks for asking! When you download any SWC project, you should see two comments when you click the stage. If you expand them, you will see a bunch of information on how to code in HTScript and SWC. If you are looking for information on how SWC works or a users guide, you will have to wait. We may create one in the future, but we have been so busy with the actual development of Web Wizard and other SWC related projects that we haven't had much time for things like that.

Hey all!
I'm making a fully functional compact video player in scratch (more like slideshow), that I'm designing to run in SWC. As it is a slideshow player, you will be able to change the time between slides. To run it, the code will have to define the:
-Video/slideshow position on screen (variables Position X and Position Y)
-Video resolution (Video X Size and Video Y size), if a sprite has a size of 12x24, the Vid X size is 12, and Vid Y size 24. The program does find the resolution on its own, its just slow (>5, <12 seconds). If you define this in the code, it will run faster.
It's not done yet, but it will be.

Well it's great that you took the initiative! It sounds cool, but since you didn't ask first we'll have to make sure it works well before we actually put it into web wizard. Thanks and good luck! Oh, it will also need to use the image code to make the slideshow's pictures. Unfortunately if 500 users had 2 images on each of their websites it would be quite a lot of memory. That's why we use text. It is slow, but reasonable. Thanks again!

Unforunately with small exceptions, we aren't accepting new members anymore. We appreciate you asking though. When/if website development becomes open, you will be among the first to know!

I was planing that the slideshow itself would be a sprite with several costumes. So, what did you mean by the image tag? im not familiar in coding in SWC.

Like I said before, it would just take WAY to much memory for each user to have a couple of images made out of costumes. So we use the pen. We have designed a paint editor that formats code in a certain way so that images can be displayed in a website. So slideshows would have to be made of several images that draw (pretty quickly) and than change. It's an ambitious project.

As of now, to continue the slideshow addon i need to confirm a script that i can code around to create the addon. I was thinking:
<slideshow <pen color=black>>
<positions>
<x10 y10, x45 y94, x-56 y86>
<wait>
<clearpen>
<x0 y98, x44 y66, x-88 y110>
</positions>
</slideshow>
<wait> would mean wait the number of seconds the user defined between slides, the user will define this in the GUI of the add on, not in the code.
<pencolor=black> would mean, well duh. Other available pen colors will/should be white, red, green, blue, yellow, and purple.
<positions> would define, where to go (duh, again)! As of written the pen should go to x10 y10, then x45 y94, etc.
<clearpen> Is clear pen. If this is its own command, not automatically part of the wait, people can leave it out of the code. This way people can have their image or slideshow drawn bit by bit, in increments.
Other things may be added later.
Confirmed?
