Can you report a topic if it needs to be moved?

I was about to report a topic because it needed to be moved, but then wondered if I would get in trouble for that... Can I do that?

I'm graduating HS this April and going to college in the Fall.

Re: Can you report a topic if it needs to be moved?

Here is the link btw. It needs to be moved to the "Project Ideas" forum.

You can (and should!) use the report button for anything that needs moderator help.  big_smile

Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>

Re: Can you report a topic if it needs to be moved?

By the way, I don't think it's possible to move topics from forum to forum.

As MyRedNeptune stated, you can indeed use the report button to ask topic to be moved.  smile

I'd like to take the chance to emphasize here that using the report button does not incur a penalty or infraction on anybody. The 'Report' button, aside from reporting inappropriate posts, can be used for a variety of things that need moderator attention, such as requesting one's topics to be closed to noting moderators if a certain topic needs to be moved.  smile

O.o, but yeah, as MyRedNeptune stated, topics from the Scratch Forums can't be moved to the Text-Based Games forum and vice versa.

Thanks to both of you! So anything that needs moderator review?

It's good that we have a report button. What would we do without it? More accurately what will the forums look like without it.

What do you mean? When I said the forum's will look different, I meant that they wouldn't be a organized as they are today.

Yes because the forums would have profanity, rude talking, and many other things not needed in the scratch community. Moderators would have to search like crazy to keep it the way it is now.
