I don't know. Maybe it's a browser that stops BB code or something.

That wouldn't make any sense, BB code is just what the fluxBB forum engine (I think thats what it is) uses to interpret the
[i][/i]'s and the [url=][/url]'s etc. etc.

No, the forum is made in the code. How else do you make forums?

you install fluxBB BBcode is the code used in the posts.
I quote
BBCode
BBCode is a collection of formatting tags that are used to change the look of text in this forum. BBCode is based on the same principal as, and is very similar to, HTML. Below is a list of all the available BBCodes and instructions on how to use them.
Administrators have the ability to enable or disable BBCode. You can tell if BBCode is enabled or disabled out in the left margin whenever you post a message or edit your signature.

No, you're not understanding. The first forum ever to enter the internet. How was it made? Certainly fluxbb didn't travel back in time to offer it's assistance then. It's code.

Probably it was coded in Php or Html, most likely Html, Php is likely what FluxBB/PunBB/PhpBB is coded in, as that quote said, BB code is a selection of tags used in the posts on the forum itself, its like Html,
Example: [i][/i] <i></i>
The first is BB code, which makes things go italics. (Italics)
The second is Html code (I know a little) also makes things go Italic.
If you look at the bottom of the forums hosted by PunBB hosting you will see two things.
1. Powered by FluxBB
2. Hosted by PunBB-Hosting.
Do you understand now?
