Just like Blanche in "A Streetcar Named Desire", I've always depended on the kindness of strangers. I find kindness to be a fickle thing these days.
I don't feel like I belong in the 21st century in a capitalist country.
Karl Marx is not respected enough.
Vladimir Lenin is respected too much.
Capitalists are respected too much.

Maybe you would find more kindness if you gave a little yourself?

So..... you're overly depressed, eh?
Here's my words of advice: Just say no.

Do you need to be taken to the crazy house like Blanche?
You worry too much over things you have no influence over. Just concentrate on the good things in life.

I'm depressed because today I both learned that an idiot once asked, "Why doesn't my parrot eat my diareah," and that Ace-of-Spade missed the Winter Olympic Ceremony because he had to take a bad poop.
Talk about deppression.

Capitalism is superior, People at least have a chance of a better life, where the smart can succeed, it gives people an incentive to try. While there are rich people abusing their power, it's worse in a country with communism. I have a friend who lived through the soviet russia. Marx is all theoretical, wile his "dream world" is an interesting concept, he forgot to factor in human behavior, he never thought people would abuse their power.

Yea I do. I invested my time reading, working hard, learning, I expect it to pay off, why would anyone do anything if they could never get anything out of it? Look at north korea, then look at south korea. The capitalist south korea is rich, north korea needs to threaten the world to feed it's starving "COMRADES"

DO YOU CALL THAT JUST!?!?!?I won't because I'm smart and I work hard but I'm a capitalist so when the communist revolution comes I'm going to not know what to do and get all depressed and start to think about building a time travel machine and be considered insane, people like you will never grow out of your radical ways.
Yeah right. I know a million who were communists as kids and still are.
And it's unfair how you can find a million dollars on the street and then have people under your thumb.
Capitalism is the same concept as slavery. The lower classes are both workers and consumers. The capitalists think they're just there to give them what Marx called "the visible deity".
DO YOU CALL THAT JUST!?!?!?
The bright side:
Eventually, the lower classes will have nothing left to give. Capitalism collapses. The communist era begins.
One day, proletariat will rule.

Communism only works if:
A.) Leaders are not corrupt
B.) Everyone wishes to be a communist
However, I believe that neither of those scenarios will work.
Capitalism has been based on moving upwards. While you may be right in that some take unfair advantage over others in this situation, think of the people who have succeeded in it's enviorment.
Take the KFC. The man who made it grew up poor, and didn't succeed in any buisness until he was 65. Then, because of his hard work, he got successful.
Milton Hershey, is another example. He tried making a candy shop about 11 times, and failed each time. However, his persistance allowed his comapny to finally succeed.
Jay-Z didn't graduate high school. He is now a highly paid singer.
Simon Cowell, also didn't graduate high school.
Many more have worked themselves up, and out of the dumps into "greatness" due to the fact that they were free to do so. Some may abuse the system, and some may get hurt, but would you rather denie people like these the chance at success?
Capitalism rewards those who work hard. May not be always so, but in some cases, it can. Other economys take away from that.

Maybe you should devote your energy towards moving somewhere else. I hear that Cuba has some form of Communism - and they aren't living in the 21st Century either. Both of your wishes granted at once.

And P2S's strangeness continues . . .
Aren't people always illegally escaping there so they can make it to Florida?

Ha. Good one.
It's not really traumatic experiences.
It's more like getting left out, teased, never relating to others, having emotional problems, and bad friends and boring days. People not liking you for who you are and always use you, almost no friends. Everyone thinks you're the weird one. That's how I feel. So misplaced.

Yeah right. I know a million who were communists as kids and still are.
And it's unfair how you can find a million dollars on the street and then have people under your thumb. <-- No, money just gives you opportunities.
Capitalism is the same concept as slavery. The lower classes are both workers and consumers. The capitalists think they're just there to give them what Marx called "the visible deity" <-- We have presidents, not DICTATORS .
DO YOU CALL THAT JUST!?!?!?
The bright side:
Eventually, the radicals who worship marx's perfect world" will realize the error of their ways".
One day, proletariat will not rule.
then you have no idea how capitalism works, if the majority of people were being oppressed, then they can vote a president into office who will change it. Problem solved,
capitalism saved, meanwhile, the USSR goes bankrupt, and turns into a democracy! Western civilization 1, Communists -1! we win
or
GOOD GUYS (capitalism) is BETTER then BAD GUYS (communism)

I'm surprised you keep saying that. You're preaching to kids. They don't know any of these old books. Archmage knows it because he's an old wizard from a magical land. Also 'a streetcar named desire' also sounds like an adult book, if you know what I mean.
