Scratch On Ubuntu: I Am Fa!ling

I have absolutely no expierience on linux ubuntu. Please help me get scratch on. Those instructions on the homepage mean nothing to me. I got up to the part where I have to paste something in the terminal, but this always happens and I don't know what to do. http://i49.tinypic.com/v4saj7.png Also, I have no tab in the software sources called "Third Party Software" Instead I have something called "Other Sources"

UPDATE: After lots of random fiddling, I typed in my password a bunch of times and this came up in the terminal.

Helpful, eh?

Just download a Scratch package.

Or, go to Applications and then Installer(forget what it's called) and download Wine.

Then, download Scratch for Windows( http://info.scratch.mit.edu/Scratch_1.4_Download ) and run the shortcut. It looks like a glass of Wine and then there you go, a somewhat functional version of Scratch!

Re: Scratch On Ubuntu: I Am Fa!ling

If Scratch is installed: Type "scratch" in the terminal. It HAS to be lowercase, no matter what.

If Scratch isn't installed: Open up Synaptic Package Manager, search for Scratch, install it then do above.

You only do the instructions on the Linux Install page if Synaptic doesn't have Scratch.
