Help With Mesh!

Okay, I got two computers, both have scratch downloaded, both are set up for a MESH connection, Both have the same program downloaded (the program is FOR MESH), but how do I connect them and get the program to work?  The program is a ChatBox where you type something and it supposedly shows up on the other person's screen.  How do I make it work?

Re: Help With Mesh!

You're wondering how to start mesh and join?

To host mesh:
• Right-click on Share, and select Host Mesh.
Done! It'll show you your IP address (you'll see why in a bit).

To join mesh:
• Right-click on Share, and select Join Mesh.
• Enter in the IP address of the computer you want to mesh with.
Done!

That should help.  smile

Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.

Re: Help With Mesh!

To find your IP:
1) Press Windows+R
2) Type cmd into the window.
3) into this new window, type ipconfig.
4) Hit enter. After a few seconds, you will see your IP address.
(If you do not, then you are not connected.)

Do this on both computers.
Now, just copy the IP from each into the other.

I think that this is your problem.

However, the question you posed is a bit too general to be sure.

P.s. Next time, this should go in troubleshooting.

Mesh tells you the IP of the hosting computer when you start hosting.  smile

Re: Help With Mesh!

Shift click share on one computer, click HOST MESH then go on the other computer and shift click share and select JOIN MESH and put in the number that came up on the first computer.
