My Poems I did for My English Project Last Year

Okay, here's the story. My brother and I were going to see Transformers 2 last year, just as I was about to leave I was like, "Wait....MY ENGLISH PROJECT ON POEMS IS DUE TOMORROW."

So I did them all in about 2 minutes. (I got 4/37 marks....)

Keep that in mind. I'm not stupid, I just REALLY wanted to see that movie.

Here they are, no joke, non retyped, all copy and pasted from the word documents

1. Concept Poem
My Name is Jack,
I like to play hacky sack.
When I'm lazy,
My Mum gives me a whack,
on the back.

2. Descriptive Poem
The Tree was big,
The tree was round,
The tree had twigs,
Which made my Dog frown

3. Title Poem
S he was a she
U p went him
P eas in hand
E eating with a fork
R emembering his spoon

M an, he could fly
A ny body could tell
N ot even his mum

4. ABC Poem
A pples are red
P ineapples are brownish
P ickles are green
L ime is also green
E lephants are grey

5. Humour Poem
The boy was sad,
He lost his bag,
This poem isn't funny,
because he killed his bunny

(I'm being serious, its all non edited)

Feel free to rate.  tongue

Re: My Poems I did for My English Project Last Year

I needed to memorize a poem and recite in in front of some 30 people last year:

'Twas brillig and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe,
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that BITE, the claws that CATCH!
Beware the jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand,
Long time the manxome foe he sought,
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

[warning:following part is somewhat gory]
One, two! One,two!
The vorpal blade went SNICKER-SNACK!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galuhmping back.

"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms by beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe,
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And mome raths outgrabe.

Funny poem, isn't it? Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells
I still have it in my memory Jingle all the way...
Even though, Oh what fun
Quite so, it is to ride
Spellcheck is a-gettin' angry In a one-horse open sleigh!

Kinda kinda strange Dashing through the snow
In my shorty range In a one-horse open sleigh
I memorized all the words O'er the fields we go
and all the spellings Laughing all the way

Now I cannot talk Hear our voices ring
in normal normal speak, Making spirits bright
Now I poorly have to endure What fun it is to laugh and sing
a rhyme like Caroll's rhymes' peak A sleighing song tonight

Oh no oh no poor me Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Now I have the urge to sing! Jingle all the way;
Poorly in the tune of Oh! what fun it is to ride
The carol Jingle Bells, Hey! In a one-horse  open sleigh, Hey!

(To the rough tune of "Jingle Bells")

Italic text shows what Jingle Bells would be

http://i52.tinypic.com/5es7t0.png I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>

Re: My Poems I did for My English Project Last Year

I write poems at home and I even wrote a fairytale one. It was about a horse who takes a wolf to the Fountain....
