Clicking on the "New Posts" button doesn't always work right.

Hello. I was wondering why sometimes when I click the "New Posts" button, it doesn't always take me to the most recent post. In fact, it sometimes takes me a page or two or a few back. I am using Internet explorer 7 with Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
or 3 I don't know.  neutral  And I'm using a PC.

I'm graduating HS this April and going to college in the Fall.

You clicked recent posts probably.

I think New Posts is not supposed to take you to the most recent post. It's supposed to take you to the oldest post that you haven't read. You can click on "last post" to get the most recent, if you want that.

Oh the new posts button on every topic. Yeah, that only takes you to the last post you didn't see. Click on the last replied to by whoever for the latest post.
