While trying to mesh with Hyperion23 (with 1.2, it didn't work) I found more blocks!
Just shift click the r in scratch in 1.2 and a little window saying experimental blocks pops up.

This is a very good discovery... I knew about these from 1.0, however getting them in 1.2 using the shift+r trick... very cool.
The only thing that I've been able to get these blocks to do so far is to get the stage background to pan, however I'm sure there is a way of making more of them work.
Although I've known about these for a while, now, I haven't looked into them too much.
However, with this new discovery I think that I will try to figure them out through the source code, and add them to Streak.
Thank you for pointing these out!
I am eagerly awaiting a response from the scratch team, explaining them further.

Yeah, a lot of the blocks I didn't understand (how would Z work in a 2-D program?) and I'm glad you have found interest in them!
